Boiler operators are physically able to work in the most extreme conditions, including hot, cold, wet, and steamy environments, and are able to lift up to 75 pounds at a time.
Boiler operators sometimes perform work at extreme heights and in tight, confined spaces, which requires them to stay composed and focused even in the most uncomfortable, frightening locations
boiler operators make quick decisions to solve potential and existing problems, which requires decisive problem-solving skills
